The Role at a Glance
Most video editors spend 80% of their time fighting keyframes, cutting out silence, looking for stock footage, syncing caption templates, and waiting for timelines to render.
At Shorz, we think that’s backward. We believe **creative editors are visual directors**, not button-clickers. In this role, you will use our proprietary Windows AI Video Suite to automate almost all manual production. Your job is to bring the **killer concepts, trending hooks, storytelling, and scripts**—Shorz will do the heavy lifting of producing the video.
Responsibilities
- ✓Research trending formats, organic angles, and hooks on TikTok, IG Reels, and YT Shorts.
- ✓Draft short scripts (15-60s) showing how users can edit videos, generate AI clips, or build channels.
- ✓Input your concepts/scripts into Shorz.ai to auto-generate video edits, talking avatars, or AI podcasts.
- ✓Use Shorz finishing layers (subtitles, visual polish, auto-zoom, title hooks) to make videos scroll-stopping.
- ✓Publish and monitor the organic performance on test channels to double down on what works.
Who You Are (Requirements)
- ✓Access to a Windows PC (Shorz is a highly optimized, high-performance Windows desktop application).
- ✓Obsessed with short-form visual storytelling and high-retention editing structure (hooks, pacing, sound tricks).
- ✓A creative thinker who enjoys writing engaging scripts and experimenting with viral marketing concepts.
- ✓No advanced Premiere/Resolve/AfterEffects skills needed. We value your concepts 10x more than your manual clipping speed.
