This Refund Policy applies to Shorz (AI Video Editor for Windows), operated by TALENTSCREENER OÜ, a company registered in Estonia.

By purchasing and activating a Shorz license, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. No Refunds – Lifetime License

1.1 All Sales Are Final

Shorz is sold as a one-time, lifetime license that is permanently locked to a single computer upon activation.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
TALENTSCREENER OÜ does not offer refunds under any circumstances once the license has been activated.

By completing your purchase, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

  • You understand Shorz is a digital software product
  • The license is delivered instantly
  • The license becomes technically bound to your device upon activation
  • The purchase grants lifetime usage rights for that device
  • No refunds will be provided

No exceptions will be made, including but not limited to:

  • Dissatisfaction
  • Accidental purchase
  • Change of mind
  • Lack of technical knowledge
  • Hardware change after activation
  • Personal or financial circumstances

2. Why No Refunds Are Offered

Shorz provides immediate access to fully functional professional-grade AI software.

Upon activation:

  • The license key is cryptographically tied to a specific machine
  • The product becomes permanently usable on that device
  • The software and its full capabilities are unlocked instantly
  • The value is delivered in full at the moment of activation

Because:

  • The license cannot be "returned"
  • The software cannot be "un-used"
  • Digital assets cannot be revoked once activated without invalidating legitimate users
  • License duplication and abuse risks would arise if refunds were permitted

For these technical and security reasons, refunding activated lifetime licenses is not feasible.

This policy protects:

  • Fair pricing for all users
  • Infrastructure sustainability
  • Prevention of abuse or unauthorized duplication

3. No Subscriptions

Shorz does not operate on a subscription model.

  • There are no recurring charges
  • There are no automatic renewals
  • There are no hidden fees

You pay once. You own the license for life (on that activated device).

4. License Scope

The Shorz lifetime license:

  • Is valid for one Windows device
  • Is non-transferable unless explicitly approved by TALENTSCREENER OÜ
  • May not be resold, sublicensed, or redistributed
  • Remains subject to the Shorz Terms of Service and License Agreement

If you change computers, please contact support to review eligibility for a potential license reset. Approval is not guaranteed and is evaluated case-by-case.

If you experience technical issues, installation problems, or activation errors, please contact us before assuming incompatibility.

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Estonian courts.
