AI voiceover

AI voice generator that narratesthe whole video

Pick an ElevenLabs voice, hit preview, and your script becomes narration — timed to scenes, with subtitles already synced to it. Or bring your own cloned voice and never record again.

How to use the ai voice generator in three steps

Recording narration is the step that kills most video projects — the room is loud, the take is flat, and re-writing one line means re-recording the whole thing. Shorz reads the script instead. Change a word, regenerate that line, and everything downstream — scene timing, subtitles, dubbing — re-syncs on its own.

Paste the script

Drop in your script and Shorz shows the estimated finished length as you type. There's no scene cap — a 40,000-character script becomes roughly 45 minutes of narrated video.

Browse the ElevenLabs voice list, generate a short preview, and listen before you spend anything on a full render. Warm, authoritative, conversational — audition until it fits the channel.

Let it drive the edit

The narration sets the pace: scenes cut on the sentence, subtitles land word by word, B-roll appears where it's mentioned, and music ducks underneath. You didn't time any of it.

Shorz speaks MCP

Shorz isn't a locked web app. Connect it to Claude, Cursor, Codex or Gemini and your assistant can drive it directly — one message instead of a panel full of clicks. You review before anything is published.

AI Voice Generator questions

Not for the preset voices — those run on your Shorz account with no keys to wire up. An ElevenLabs key is only needed if you want to narrate with your own custom or cloned voice.

Yes. Clone your voice in ElevenLabs, paste your key into Shorz, and your voice appears in the picker alongside the presets. You can also upload a recording you made yourself and use that as the narration instead.

The script box caps at 40,000 characters, which is about 45 minutes of finished video at the app's 150-words-per-minute estimate. There's no cap on the number of scenes.

Text-to-speech runs around 13 credits per minute of audio (1 credit = €0.01), so a 10-minute narration is roughly €1.30. Credits are prepaid and never expire — there's no subscription.

Yes. Subtitles are generated from the same timing as the narration, word by word, so they land exactly on the spoken word — including after you regenerate a line or dub into another language.
